He will come!
in the clouds – on a white horse,
with a sword
King of Kings and Lord of Lords
but not yet.
He will wait for His people –
to return
then He will make all things new.
so we wait.
like watchmen wait for the morning
and we hope
certain of what we do not see.
not idly.
prepare your minds for action
go, therefore
making disciples of all nations.
make us yours.
give us kingdom-mentality
and patience –
Come quickly Lord Jesus!
