Pastor Jim Fikkert and Jeff Caldwell are planning a missions trip to Zambia this November to spend some time with the Huckaby family, who are serving ACTION Zambia in Lusaka.
Learn more about the Huckaby family — missionaries supported by Communion Church — HERE.
The purpose of this trip for Jim and Jeff, besides visiting some good friends abroad, is:
- Meet churches/partners who work with the Huckabys
- Teach at ACTION pastor’s college
- See the work being done at Camp Ciyanjano
- Take the Huckaby family for a weekend of rest
- Encourage our missionaries
In order for this to be accomplished: tickets must be purchased, medicine must be taken, visas secured, and insurance bought. This is where you come in!
While Jim and Jeff are taking time to travel, teach, and support, they need your help to get there. The cost of a two week trip to a foreign country with food/lodging comes to $5,000 per person.
Please consider helping us reach this goal! As far as charitable giving details go, this money will go through Communion Church and you will be given a tax deductible letter at the beginning of next year.
Additionally, the Huckabys just put out an urgent need for Camp Ciyanjano — you can read about this HERE. The hope is to not only fundraise for the trip, but to be able to bless the work of the Huckaby family by helping them reach their financial goals. You can give on their campaign page directly, or any money given to the trip beyond the need will be given directly to Camp Ciyanjano.
Please prayerfully consider donating to Camp Ciyanjano and our trip to support our missionaries during this time. Thank you in advance for your prayers and donations!
