The Youth Group — grades 6-12 — is having a Spring Break Game Night. We will be at the church Wednesday, April 8 from 6-8p with some games planned. Please bring a nut-free snack to share. If you have a favorite family-friendly board game you would like to bring, bring that as well!

CERTAINTY in the Uncertain // A one day women’s retreat hosted by Communion Church, Roots Church, Anchored Faith and Legacy Church.

We will be joining with the women from Roots, Anchored Faith and Legacy Church for a 3Strand North Women’s Day Retreat — Certainty in the Uncertain — on Saturday April 25 from 9a to 5p with check-in beginning at 8:30a — so that we can share in a time to greet one another, then get started promptly at 9a.

Cost is $20. Snacks, coffee and lunch will be provided — see sign-up link for details. Lap infants and high-school-age daughters are welcome. Please sign up by April 20 so we can plan food accordingly.

During our time together, we will consider the unwavering confidence, peace and security we can be assured of in Christ Jesus and how we can live this out, keeping our eyes on Jesus in the midst of the uncertainty we so often find ourselves in.

The hope for the day is to bolster our confidence to declare ‘Jesus is MINE,’ give practical tools and encouragement to continue growing in spiritual disciplines that deepen certainty, to delight in worship together expressing gratitude for all Christ has done, and joyfully come together as a network of churches in fellowship and friendship. We’ll enjoy teaching sessions as a large group, then break out into smaller groups to dive deeper into conversations about our teaching time.

The women of Communion are reading through the Bible in 2026. Join us for our monthly Bible reading discussion. We’ll gather in the church basement for fellowship, prayer and to review our reading. Please feel welcome wherever you are in the plan, no need to sign up! If you will be needing childcare, we have the option of providing this on Friday mornings, but only as arranged ahead of time. For May, the Men’s Breakfast will be on the 1st Saturday — instead of our usual 2nd. So, be sure to mark your calendar! Men of all ages — kiddos too — are invited to join us for breakfast and fellowship at church on Saturday May 2 at 9a. For questions on what to bring, reach out to Buck Bouck.

Please join us to celebrate Petra Lasc, Gianna Vander Lei and Siri Picini and their new babies. We will be having a salad potluck lunch after the second service Sunday, May 31 at 12:30p. This is a great opportunity to fellowship with the women of Communion and support these families, whether you’ve gotten a chance to meet them yet or not. Gifts aren’t a must, but wipes and diapers are very appreciated for all families. Sign up to bring part of the potluck lunch, and join us!
