Paul writes a very personal letter to Philemon about his relationship with a former slave who escaped. While this may seem like a situation that has nothing to do with us, the letter addresses a number of issues that we still deal with in our relationships today: being wronged, forgiveness, and sacrificing for the good of others. It shows us how partnering together for Christ and living with others toward His glory produces healing and goodness in us.
