Your salvation has nothing to do with your will or your exertion, so the pressure is off to perform. You can now experience the joy of worshipfully serving a God who redeems. This grace compels us to action; that is the fruit of the Gospel. If we know and understand our position with God, then our service to him is completely out of gratitude rather than working our way into something that God owes us.
