Summary

The Psalmist leads the people of God in a communal lament. While this Psalm starts off with the praise and worship we are used to, it quickly turns into frustration and anger aimed at God. This gives us both permission and an example of how to be frustrated with God. God invites us to be mad at Him, but He wants us to bring that anger to Him so that we can know Him better through our lament.
