The Easter story is the foundation of the Christian faith. When Jesus got up from the grave He proved that He had power over death. His power over death revealed His power over sin. His power over sin revealed His plan to redeem the world. Easter is God doing the work necessary for salvation and it is His declaration of His sovereign grace for the world. Christianity without the resurrection has no hope. A Christian without Easter is to be pitied.
