Summary
This is a sermon about identity. It is a sermon that is necessary because we all have a broken sense of who we are. In the gospel, we are given a new life, and with it: value, belonging and purpose. We no longer need to create these things for ourselves or find fulfillment in some temporal thing. Instead, our lives are about applying the finished work of Jesus; being assured that all of the promises He gives are really ours.
