Summary
The Bible is filled with difficult stories that exist to shock us out of our apathy into a greater understanding of sin and God’s holiness. Genesis 38 is one of these, where we get to see what happens when the characters leave the family of God, fail to follow the order of God, and act out of their own base lusts and desires. The amazing thing is, God uses these people, and this situation, for His glory!
