Summary
Jesus hears of His friend’s illness and takes His time getting there. By the time that Jesus gets there, Lazarus is dead. After spending some time consoling His friends, declaring His authority over death, and mourning, Jesus calls Lazarus out of the grave. This sign foreshadows Jesus resurrection and calls us, who are dead in our sins, to life in Him.
