Summary
Jesus is the true vine. In this, He gives direction as to why we see struggle in this world (pruning and cutting), as well as helping us find hope in the midst of it all (stay connected to the vine). Jesus has a way of both discouraging us to find hope in this world, while us showing us that hope is absolutely possible in Him.
