Summary
We all want proof; we want to be sure that the things that we believe are true. The struggle for us is that Jesus does not give it to us in the way we desire. This is because He is proving more than just His existence, He is proving His absolute worthiness (and our dependence on Him). As Jesus answers the questions of the people, He is building a case for His sovereignty, leaving clues that will come together at His death and resurrection.
