Summary
John the Baptist recognizes that his role has changed with the coming of Jesus; his disciples don’t. In the same way, recognizing Jesus should shift where we put our value in this life; we should be willing to set aside our glory to make much of Him. Or as John puts it: I must decrease, He must increase.
