Summary
After Jesus is arrested, He is put on trial. This trial is not a fair assessment of facts, but a struggle for power. We see the Jewish authorities and the Roman leaders in a battle with Jesus for what truth and strength look like. In the end, Jesus shows His strength, not by overwhelming them or winning the trial, but by giving Himself ‘as a lamb led to slaughter.’
