Summary
Lament refers to coming to God in desperation, trusting that He is able to renew us. It is because God knows us, that He never leaves us, and that He is able, that we can lift our prayers and needs to Him, believing that He cares for us and wants what is best for us. Lament is the means by which God helps us to see both His sovereignty and our need for Him.
