Summary
We get three stories juxtaposed here where the characters make an assessment on the value of Jesus. In the first, the scribes value their place in society more than Jesus. In the second, Judas considers 30 pieces of silver more than Jesus is worth. The third story tells us of Mary pouring close to years wages worth of perfume on Jesus; He praises her for knowing His worthiness.
