Costly Living

Summary

What does it look like to live in response to grace? How can we grow in our appreciation for Christmas? The answer to both is the same: live your life with dependence on God. While that sounds simple, our default is to want to control the outcomes. The gospel is a motivation that allows us to be content with our situation, while also working tirelessly toward loving and serving others to bring this world more in line with God’s order. This is costly living, not because it isn;t a big deal, but because it forces us to give up the immediate for something much bigger.
